The Evidence-Based Teacher's Top Ten Methods:   A video DVD

I have worked with Mediamerge and Geoff Petty to create a DVD about the top ten most effective teaching methods.

Geoff Petty is author of Evidence Based Teaching - A practical approach and has led evidence-based training sessions for over ten years.

The methods are explained either by myself or by Geoff. They are illustrated with over 20 clips showing the methods being used by ordinary teachers in real classrooms filmed by Mediamerge .

The only methods that have been included are supported by dozens of pieces of research, drawing on half a million experiments.

The training day can be organised in the same way as the DVD content so that staff become familiar with the content and can review sections during later follow-up training sessions.
